~Community Membership Process~
Step 1: Visit the community profile to see if you are interested in what we offer. [link]
Step 2: Visit the rules page. [link] If you understand and agree to the rules you may proceed to step three
Step 3: Visit the profile again to join. [link]
Step 4: Once your membership has been approved, visit and submit to the bio page. [link]
* Be sure to “Friend” all existing members so you can read their journals
~Joining the DA Club~
- You may only join this club if you plan on participating in the LiveJouranl community
- You must have at least one LJ character account and have successfully joined the LJ community
- Due to the adult content expected at the community, members must be at least 14-years-old
- Send a "Join Request" via note to this account. I will ask you provide the character’s name along with your request to prove you really plan on participating.
- You will then be added to the list.
~Conduct~
- Here in the Second Self Club we focus on original role play characters.
- According to DA guidelines, I cannot give out the password to every member. If too many different sources have access to the account, it is at threat of being deleted.
- Due to the rules and policies here on deviantART, it will be up to my discretion as to whether pieces need an MA filter on it or not. I'm not going to be a hard ass; I just want to be on the safe side since I am responsible for the content of this club.
- The plan right now is that I will check this account at least once a week, no specific day.
~Rules~
- Above all: Respect.
- Please follow the rules of deviantART while you are here.
- It is not required, but it would be a nice gesture if you added our icon to your journal. It helps to get the word out and expand the population.
- Do not favorite or leave comments on the works posted here. You will be re-directed to the original artist for this.
- Comments are always appreciated, but please do not flame or SPAM our artists.
~Character Creation~
- There are two types of characters you can create. (1) Alter Ego (2) General
- If you wish to create an Alter Ego, please see the template here: [link]
- If you wish to create a General, please see the guide here: [link]
- The number of General characters you can create is unlimited. Alter Egos are limited to one [1].
~Submissions~
- Please only submit work that is your own. No screencaps or paint-overs.
- I find that the following path is most successful with this type of art:
Cartoon, Comic & Manga > Cartoon > Drawing> medium of your choice
- To submit a piece of work, send me a note entitled “Submission.” In the note provide the TITLE of your deviation and a LINK to your deviation. I will handle the rest.
- All submissions will be credited to the original artist, and all comments/favorites will be re-directed to the original artist as well.
- Works with other members’ characters are welcome as long as you let the original creator of that character know.
- Make sure you © (your name) and use the Creative Commons License; also if you make a piece that includes another artist’s character © that artist
